We have a vacancy for a postdoc in the Brown/GM collaborative research lab. The postdoc will work with Vikas Srivastava, and (initially) Allan Bower, along with colleagues at GM to develop a microstructure-based modeling framework that can predict material damage and fracture in advanced high strength steels of relevance to GM, and implement the new method into a stand-alone tool that will enable GM to develop advanced steel material models for CAE simulations. If you know of anyone who would be interested in this project, and would like to spend a bit of time with us at Brown, could you please let them know?
