Stefano Zucca from Politecnico di Torino is organizing the final workshop for the EXPERTISE project, which is a multi-institutional collaboration in Europe that has been going on for several years now. A number of the talks will be directly related to modeling joints in aero turbines (and others are focused on computational and programming issues relevant to scaling up simulations).
